Greetings Solana Ranch Community!

I am thrilled to be working with the students, families, and staff of Solana Ranch. Before I started my career in education I worked in the San Diego Biotechnology Industry. But, in 2004 I made the best decision of my life and made a major career change to education. I started my education career at Solana Pacific the year it opened. The first 7 years of my career I was an education specialist. Next, I was a classroom teacher at Skyline and Solana Pacific. From 2017 until 2023 I was the STREAM TOSA at Carmel Creek. In 2023-2024, I was a Teaching and Learning Project Specialist in the Solana Beach School District office, supporting students and teaching through many initiatives and curriculum support. I became Assistant Principal of Solana Ranch midway through the 2023-2024 school year.

I am passionate about the STEM fields and making them accessible to all students, environmental literacy, and student voice in learning. While I have my own areas of interest I know a well rounded education maximizes learning and opportunities for students. I am humbled to work alongside your students’ outstanding teachers to lay the foundation for their lifelong learning. 

Schools are the heart of their community and it is a privilege to work with your children and you to make each and every day the best it can be at Solana Ranch. The best is truly yet to come.
